Clear Diesel
Clear diesel is today's standard highway diesel fuel of choice (i.e. Standard retail/public diesel). It burns cleaner than earlier low-sulphur blends (prior to 2006), resulting in lower sulphate emissions, less particulate matter by weight, and better air pollution control.
Dyed Diesel
Dyed diesel is designed exclusively for off-road purposes, of those permitted for fuel tax exemption. Therefore, it costs less because it is not subject to a tax premium. The only distinguishable difference from clear diesel is the coloured dye of the fuel. Farmers, commercial fishermen, trappers and loggers may apply for a Fuel Tax Exemption Permit to purchase marked diesel fuel tax-exempt for use in their farming, commercial fishing, trapping and logging activities.
Diesel Underground
Our Diesel Underground fuel, or sometimes referred to as Light Ultra Low Sulphur (CP-43), is fuel specially formulated to safely burn in engines underground. Specifically, the fuel minimizes the chance of an accident with specifications of a flashpoint above 52°C and sulphur content less than 0.05% of the weight of the diesel fuel.
