The international standard for turbine-powered aircraft.
Jet A-1 is the internationally recognized kerosene-grade fuel standard for commercial, jet, turboprop, and turbine-powered rotary aircraft.
Polar Oils sources Jet A-1 from quality-assured Canadian refiners, helping ensure every litre delivered meets the performance and safety specifications your operation requires.
- Flash point above 38 °C / 100 °F
- Maximum freeze point of −47 °C
- Meets CAN/CGSB-3.23, National Standard of Canada for Aviation Turbine Fuel
- Clear, bright appearance with no particulate contamination
Cold-weather protection, properly blended.
In Canadian operating environments, where temperatures can drop quickly and altitude makes conditions even colder, Fuel System Icing Inhibitor is an important additive for many aircraft types.
As fuel cools, dissolved water can separate and freeze within the fuel system. Ice crystals can block fuel filters and fine passages, creating a risk of engine disruption or failure.
Polar Oils offers Jet A-1 with FSII properly blended at the correct concentration for aircraft that require this protection, especially those operating without fuel system heaters or in remote cold-weather environments.
FSII is available upon request. Speak with our team to confirm your aircraft's requirements.
The aviation gasoline standard for piston-engine aircraft.
Avgas 100LL, or Low Lead, is formulated for high-octane performance and reliable operation across certified piston aircraft engines used in general aviation, flight training, bush operations, and private flying.
Whether you operate a training school, remote aviation base, or private airstrip, Polar Oils can supply the Avgas 100LL your fleet depends on.
- Motor Octane Rating: 99.5 minimum
- Lean mixture rating: 100 octane minimum
- Rich mixture rating: 130 performance number
- Low lead tetraethyllead formulation
